You really do deserve it! Phone cameras do not do justice to you at all, with a professional you don’t just get high resolution- high quality images, you get image layout- high quality, image editing- high quality, and photo experience- high quality.
The best thing I hear as a photographer is “ wow, I’ve never looked that good before.” But that’s just not true! You ALWAYS look that good. You just don’t know it because you don’t have a professional there to capture it. So, treat yourself to see the best you and book a professional photo-session.

Life is full of ups and downs, but the ups are always worth remembering. Why not capture it? When you’re old and shriveling and your grandchild asks about a photo of you from long ago, why not have a great story or feeling behind it? Like “ Well, I decided to have photos taken because that was the best year ever.” or “ because I just got a new job” or it can be as simple as “ because I wanted to remember how I felt at this time in my life.”

Maybe you’ve seen a bunch of photos of portraits using cool multicolored lights, or in cool locations that you want to explore, or that use a bunch or bright colors with clothes and backdrop, or ones where they glue flowers all over the subject. There are so many amazing and artistic ways to be photographed. Let Loose!
If you see something awesome that you like, find a photographer and brainstorm with them!! These photos are about you! You don’t have to limit yourself to just having nice photos, you can really create art with your photographer out of the most simple ideas. So, if you dread the idea of standing in front of a camera, don’t just settle for standing in front of a camera. Have fun with it, and create art.

There is a quality to professional images that selfies just cannot match. When you go through images on social media you can 100% tell if an image someone puts out there is professionally taken and edited and when it was taken with their phone camera and edited in facetune, etc. I think selfies are great for day to day, but as mentioned, they don’t always do justice to all your beautiful and handsome faces.
